Dear IWC members,

I am taking the opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to the IWC Steering Committee for their faith shown in me by appointing me as President of International Women’s Club.

I am incredibly excited to take over the leadership from President Mary Toghanyan who has been with you for the last 2 years. Thank you Mary for all the incredible work you have done!!

Let me take this opportunity to write a few words about myself for those members who don’t know me yet.

I’ve been in Moscow  for two and a half years and I got acquainted with the IWC through the IWC Bazar and Russian Literature Interest Group activities to build relationships and I’m more inspired day by day by seeing how many members do their utmost in order to make IWC a creative, innovative, and enjoyable Club for both members and partners.

As newly arrived President I am still learning, but it became already clear to me IWC, under Mary Toghanyan’s  leadership produced a lot of  amazing events to bring friendship and inspiration to the IWC community and to help people in need through its Charity Fund. Unfortunately due to Covid-19 there are many more people in need so we need to do our best to help them.

I had the chance to be active in a number of companies and organizations in recent years, and It is my strong wish to use my experience and expertise, to support this great club and grow more funds than ever to continue to strengthen this great work.

I rely on the assistance of the Steering Committee, consisting for 100% of enthusiastic volunteer IWC members. Each one has a specific area of focus, and each brings a diversity of thought, talent and passion to the board.

I am honored to lead and work with such an energetic team, all very committed, full of ideas and hard working in order to achieve the goals of the International Women’s Club.

Knowing the IWC is already over 40 years old, I realize how many people who have helped make the Club what it is today and how great it is to be allowed to lead it.

I can assure you that we will continue to strive making your experience, as a member of the IWC, enjoyable and as pleasant as possible.

In order to do so I ask for your help and support in this very difficult and challenging period with the Covid-19. I would really appreciate your ideas and feedback. Could I ask you to share your different experiences during the last few months? Anything we may do to help and support you with?
