We are also happy to announce one new project which we will be funding:

• St.Edigio - Center on Gavrilovskij

Here is some information about the new project:

This project emerged due to the needs created by the pandemic. The center is open for the poor, elderly, and large families where they are provided with food packages once a month. Furthermore, throughout the months, it has become an eco-sustainable center where food and clothes are donated and passed on to people in need. It allows people to come and try on clothes before taking them, making it feel more like a store experience, restoring dignity in people. The center currently helps over 500 people every month. The center also plans to organize workshops for children.

In addition, we are happy to announce the completion of the book project “Hidden World”, which was sponsored by IWC two years ago. The book is a series of photos and stories of people from a neuropsychological center in Tomsk.

“This book tells the story of people who we don’t often meet on the streets. They are tactfully called people with disabilities. These people live in another world. A hidden world.” This book tells the personal story of some of the residents and some of the volunteers. These stories are full of love and friendship. All stories are written by volunteers.

The physical copy of the book, in French and Russian with a PDF in English, will be available to buy during the next Meet & Greet.
