IWC Welcomes our Interest Groups Co-Chair Shagun

My name is Neeta Galani,

I came to Moscow in year 1995. Born & brought up in India. My husband at the time already had his business office in Moscow. This was a new chapter in my life & It was thrilling. I grew up reading about Yuri Gagarin first Man in space. I always wanted to visit Russia one day.

The weather was never a challenge, I enjoyed all four seasons so distinctly. Autumn is the most beautiful.

I started learning the language, enjoyed Russian cuisine, learned how to make soups, salads, Blinis.

When my son started school at AAS Moscow , I joined IWC . Made new friends from around the world . I started my own IG with learn & lunch concept-Indian &  Indochinese. It was great fun.

We moved to London in Year 2003.

I am a full time mum, lived in central London for more than 18 years. Three children daughter Anisha Galani 10, Son Tanish Galani 14 & my eldest son Aman Galani 25. We also have a Shiba Inu nearly 3 year old.

I have always been passionate about food and nutrition. Shortly after my Bachelors Degree in Science, I joined the  medical profession to conduct clinical pathology tests. I started to understand the importance of nutrition for a healthy body and mind.

Certified as a Natural Chef from the College of Naturopathic Medicine (London) and Nutrition in Everyday Life, I have been teaching wholesome cooking in different part of the world for more than 20 years, with experience in Indian, Russian & Natural Health.

I have been actively involved in developing my own food brand in Natural health since 2017 in UK.

During my free time, I use my skills to actively support charities by organising fundraising campaigns with cooking workshops.

We still have business in Moscow. I visited Moscow every year & sometimes more often on a short business trips. I take care of overall banking & finance. I have experienced the change, the progress, the development in Moscow all these years.

Until beginning of this year when we decided to move to Back to Moscow.

In August this year Anisha & Tanish started attending AAS Moscow & Aman finished his Masters in International Business & is working in London now.

I personally believe I have gained a lot from my first stay in Moscow & International Women’s Club.

It’s a platform for new ideas, old hobbies, nurturing life long new friendships.

I am looking forward to be on board as IWC-IG co-chair & working with you all.
